Seattle Southside Takes Over Airport Link Light Rail Station

The promotion is a part of Explore Seattle Southside's recent rebrand, which seeks to draw attention to the many wonderful microadventures found all over the region. Pillars, posters, and even the escalator have been decked out with colorful, bright graphics and illustrative widgets highlighting some of the region's many attractions. There's even a train that you might spot riding the rails that promotes the region!

The aim of this project is to let visitors know that they find themselves in Seattle Southside, a region filled with diverse cultures and wonderful delights that run the gamut from a beautiful waterfront farmer's market to an incredible air history museum, the bowling capital of the northwest to UFO sightings and beyond! Many Seattle locals may also be unaware of the delights that their neighbors to the south offer, and this station takeover aims to reach both incoming tourists and outgoing locals to show them just how curiously wonderful Seattle Southside can be.

The advertisements in the station contain a QR code that leads to a landing page explaining the attreactions of the Seattle Southside area. Design for this station takeover was done by 123west, our creative partners.
