Located in Seattle's historic Pioneer Square neighborhood, is the Smith Tower. This building opened in 1914 and has remained an icon for the city ever since. For nearly 50 years, the Smith Tower was the tallest building on the West Coast, but still maintains as a building with a great view of the city. The Smith Tower offers the original view of Seattle from the 35th floor Observation Deck and Chinese Room, both are open to tourists daily and available for private events.
