Paris Baguette
Paris Baguette is a welcoming, French-inspired café where you can find fresh-baked pastries and cakes, a full espresso bar, and lunch fare such as salads and sandwiches. The Tukwila store, which opened in 2024, is part of a popular global franchise that originated in South Korea more than 25 years ago. Since then, it’s quickly become a go-to for locals and visitors alike.
NEED TO KNOW:
- PICK YOUR OWN PASTRIES: The first thing you’ll notice when you walk in is that dozens of baked goods are displayed within the café so you can pick them out yourself. Grab a tray and fill it up with anything that calls to you, then bring it to the counter, where you can also order coffee and other beverages.
- TONS OF SWEET AND SAVORY OPTIONS: In addition to more than two dozen different kinds of sweets, including mochi donuts, croissants, puff pastries and more, there are plenty of savory options such as quiche, pizzeta (small pizzas made with flaky pastry), pastry franks and a curry croquette. For lovers of classic diner breakfast, there’s even a Hash Brown Bread that incorporates ham, cheese and hashbrowns.
- GOURMET CAKES: For special occasions, there’s a wide selection of cake slices and whole cakes, from classics like chocolate and red velvet to unique flavors like a Cappuccino Cake that actually looks like a giant coffee mug.
THE VIBE: This family-friendly café is casual and welcoming, with charming, Parisian-inspired design. While you can take your food to-go, there’s plenty of seating inside.
GOOD TO KNOW:
- SEASONAL SPECIALS: Paris Baguette rolls out seasonal pastries and beverage flavors every few months. For instance, the fall menu includes a Pumpkin Spice Danish and a Halloween-themed Spider Mochi Donut.
- REWARDS PROGRAM: Paris Baguette has a “PB Rewards” mobile app that you can use to earn free pastries.
- FAMILY-RUN: Though Paris Baguette is a global company, the Tukwila location is owned by local engineer Edwin Chang and managed by his sons, Elliott and Isaiah.
