Located in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood, Lumen Field the home field for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL), the Seattle Sounders FC of Major League Soccer (MLS), the OL Reign of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), and the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL. Seahawks fans at Lumen Field have twice claimed the Guinness World Record for loudest crowd roar at an outdoor stadium, and crowd noise from this stadium has shown up on the Richter scale as if it were a seismic event. Enjoy sprawling views of the downtown skyline and peaks of Elliot Bay as you take in a game.
Parking nearby can be challenging and expensive. It is recommended to ride the light rail from Seattle Southside and depart at the Stadium Station. The clear bag rule is in effect at Lumen Field. There are many restaurants located inside the stadium ranging from traditional bites to savory menus—the stadium designed menus and built beer lists worthy of all fans. Options are many and inspired by Northwest flavors.
The stadium is open air and games play rain or shine. Seats in the upper level are under cover but could still experience rain depending on the wind. Bring layers and your team jersey, and a poncho if it's raining. Arrive to Seahawks games early and check out Touchdown City in the Event Center or pre-game activities in the Muckleshoot Heritage Plaza.
Transportation:
An affordable and easy-to-use option for getting around Seattle – Link light rail is a great way to get to Lumen Field. Hop on at any of the three stations in Seattle Southside: Angle Lake, SeaTac/Airport and Tukwila International Blvd. and head north to the Stadium and International District/Chinatown stations – both just a short walk from the field. Link trains run every 8, 10 or 15 minutes depending on the time of day. Service is available postgame to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday and until midnight on Sunday and holidays. Adult fares range from $2.25 to $3.50 depending on how far you travel.
