The "13 Coins" name is of Peruvian origin. The story goes that a poor young man loved and wished to marry a wealthy girl. Her father asked what he had to offer for his daughter's hand in marriage. The young man reached into his pocket. He had only 13 coins but assured the father he could pledge undying love, care, and concern. The father was so touched that he gave his daughter's hand and "13 Coins" has come to symbolize unyielding love, care, and concern.

As evergreen as its Seattle surroundings, 13 Coins is a timeless Seattle institution where generations have settled in for an unforgettable experience since 1967. If you need private dining or a place to hold a meeting or special event near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, look to 13 Coins Sea Tac. 13 Coins is a full-service restaurant open 24 hours daily with free parking and four private dining rooms to choose from for special events. Located within walking distance of Sea-Tac Airport and just minutes from Link Light Rail. Groups of up to 100 can hold events day or night. All private dining rooms feature windows to let in natural light and have flat-screen televisions to use for presentations. The private dining rooms are popular for holiday parties, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, and special anniversary dinners. There is a seasonal outdoor patio area for event overflow.

For larger groups, restaurant buy-outs are available. Capacity for a full buy-out can accommodate parties up to 375.
