Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market
Ah yes, the smell of fresh fruit and veggies and the occasional salt water draft, there’s nothing like the Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market! Not only will you find plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables that you can’t find in the store, you’ll also get live music, a look at the local arts scene and tons of friendly people having a good time along Puget Sound. And the best part: this event lasts all summer long! Need even more Farmers' Markets? We've got you covered.
Father’s Day Events
There’s plenty to see and do with dad for Father’s Day. Plenty of Seattle Southside restaurants offer special dinner/brunch deals and Foster Golf Links is open to the public! Not to mention, all our local parks are a great place to explore, so get outdoors and enjoy some quality time with dad.
Pride Events
The Pacific Northwest is known for its inclusivity, and Pride is a party where everyone is welcome! Find fun things to do all month long to celebrate being true to yourself.
Men In Black Birthday Bash (MIBBB)

Join in the annual fun of saying "We Told You So" in memory of the Maury Island Incident.

Waterland Parade and Festival
This annual late July event has been celebrating the rich heritage of the beachfront community of Des Moines since 1959! The day kicks off with a kids' festival called the Pirate Cove Kids' Zone, which will include bouncy houses, a petting zoo, and more fun for the little ones. Your kids can even design their own mini float for the Junior portion of the parade, which takes place in the evening before the grand parade. Sure to be a great time for the whole family!
