Meeting Planning in Seattle Southside: Jeff Lovell
President and Executive Director of the Automotive Service Association, Jeff Lovell details his experience planning a meeting at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport with the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority.
For twelve years, Jeff Lovell and the Automotive Service Association: Northwest have put on their annual Automotive Training Expo at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport. In 2019, the Expo had over 1,000 attendees! Jeff says the ASA originally chose to hold their event in Seattle Southside because of the location near Sea-Tac International Airport, free hotel shuttle, and convenience and proximity of the Link Light Rail so that attendees can easily explore downtown Seattle. He continues to hold his event at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Seattle Airport because of the wonderful customer service from the staff; everyone from the banquet team, to the sales team.
Jeff recommends working with the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority because of the helpful information they provide for groups and attendees to better explore the area and have a more enjoyable experience in the Pacific Northwest.
